Jacob Yorton

Social Media Manager

 

Jacob was born in Green Bay, the youngest of three children, and raised in Shawano. He attended St. James Lutheran School in Shawano through 8th grade. From there he moved on to Shawano Community High School, where he was heavily involved in the music and theatre programs while also taking college level classes in English and computers. He graduated from Shawano High in 2007 with high honors.

In high school Jacob decided he wished to attend St. Norbert College in De Pere as a music education major. Over time he changed paths and became a computer science major and graphic design minor. He is scheduled to graduate from St. Norbert in May 2012.

Jacob currently lives in Green Bay. He still remains involved with several churches and music groups in the Shawano area, as well as the athletic program and the summer school program in the Shawano School District.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, watching/playing football, beach volleyball, golf, swimming, snowboarding, working with computers, playing video games, playing music, and being involved with local theatre.

Jacob joined the Ryan team of professionals in January 2011 as the Social Media Manager. His role entails working with the technological aspect of the funeral home, assist in maintaining the computer network, website development, Facebook and other social media correspondence and marketing.
