Obituary for Ann Becker Boone

A beautiful heart stopped beating when Ann Becker Boone passed away on Friday, October 6, surrounded by her family.

Ann was born on March 17, 1926 to Noah and Della Ault. She graduated from Green Bay West High class of '44. Ann married Louis M. Becker, her high school sweetheart in 1946. As a young married woman, she was employed in the advertising department of Nau’s clothing store, notably as 'Nancy Nau - Your Personal Shopper '. After the birth of her son, Michael, Ann remained active in community service as President of the De Pere Women’s Club and as a member of the state Lioness Club.

She was a long-time member of Pilgrim Congregational Church and the Priscillas Club. She and committee members enjoyed preparing fellowship meals, which lead to their publishing of the church's popular cook book.

Throughout their 40 years of marriage Ann and Louie enjoyed entertaining friends, family and neighbors at their De Pere residence, and motorhome campsite at Bay Shore Park, until Louie’s death in 1986. Ann married her second love, Warren Boone in 1990. Together they enjoyed fishing, hiking and traveling during their 25 years of marriage. She cared for Warren until his death in 2016.
