Obituary

Agnes Dix Greening, age 93, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on June 25, 2011 at Wayside Parkview Estates in Greenleaf. She was born on November 29, 1917, in Stark, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (O'Leary) Seidel, On December 12, 1934 she married Rueben Dix at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. Rueben preceded her in death on January 9, 1979. She then married Harvey Greening on January 19, 1980 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Harvey preceded her in death on December 4, 1997. Agnes farmed with her husband, Rueben, until his retirement and continued to live on the farm until she moved to Wayside Parkview Estates in December of 2004. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. She loved Polka music and being outdoors. Agnes is survived by her four daughters: Helen French of De Pere, Nancy (Barry) Zimmermann of Menasha, Dianne (Jim) Calaway of Brillion and Linda (John) Baril of Green Bay; ten grandchildren: Terry (Joy) French, Jackie (Paul) Edelbeck, Brian (Sabine) French, Daniel Minten, Debra (Bill) Kolasinski, Russel (Lea) Calaway, Shawn (Nicole) Calaway, Tammy (Dave) Johnson, and Angela (Joe) Priebe. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, one sister Margaret Rank of Brillion, three stepsons: Don, Joe (Nel), and Bill Greening of Berlin, and one sister-in-law Geraldine (Donald) Wierschke. Besides her parents and her husbands, Agnes was preceded in death by six sisters: Rose Klipstine, Catherine Phillips Vanden Langenberg, Marie Remiker, Genevieve Moudry, Frances Thiel and an infant sister, Florence Seidel; seven brothers-in-law: Earl Klipstine, Bill Phillips, Ben Vanden Langenberg, Elmer Remiker, Bill Moudry, Leo Rank, and Ermie Thiel. She was also preceded in death by an infant grandson, Robert Calaway. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2011at St. John Lutheran Church in Wrightstown with the Pastor Matthew Vik officiating.
