David "Davey Boy" D. Treptow was born at Marinette General Hospital, Marinette, WI to Donald E. and Carroll J. (nee Behrend) Treptow on April 9, 1962. After battling kidney problems, two kidney transplants, heart surgery, pneumonia and leukemia, Dave passed away at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI on April 22, 2021. He was 59 years old. David received a bachelor's degree from UW-Stout and spent his career as an educator. He retired in 2020 from teaching at Syble Hopp School. He loved spending time up north and had a passion for everything outdoors. Dave was strong in faith and is now in the loving arms of his Savior. David is survived by his loving parents, Don & Carroll Treptow, and his brother, Bruce Treptow, and his nephew, Isaiah. He is further survived by his Godparents, Darryl & Janet Polzin, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles. Family and friends may visit at St. John Lutheran Church, 437 Turner Street, Wrightstown, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021. Visitation will continue at church the next morning, May 1, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 with Pastor Michael Gehl officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for David.
