Mary K. Koerner, 94, De Pere, passed away Tuesday morning January 9, 2018. She was born May 13, 1923 to the late Harold and Evelyn Longard. Mary was united in marriage to James Koerner Sr., on June 3, 1944 in El Centro, California. She was a loving mother who enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was an avid gardener, active in the homemakers, 4-H and De Pere Figure Skating club. She cooked for many years at the St Joseph Priory and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere. Mary is survived by her children; James Jr. (Diane) Koerner, Debbie (Mike) Gerondale, Doug (Lisa) Koerner, and Lisa (Don) Shryock. Mary is further survived by her 11 grandchildren; Monte, Shenlee, Andrea, Severin, Ashley, Melissa, Brian, Sara, Alison, Josh and Amanda,13 great grandchildren, extended family Sue (Rich) West, Lore Domke, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1973, her great grandchild, Ethan, her brother, Douglas (Lucille) Longard and extended family member Allen Domke.
