Michael R. Franc, 80, of De Pere, died early Saturday morning November 21, 2015 at a local hospital. The son of the late Max and Grace (La Frombois) Franc was born in Oshkosh on February 25, 1935. Michael was a graduate of St. Norbert College with a Bachelor Degree in Education and had attended seminary. He worked in his family store in West De Pere , Franc's City Meat Market, for many years. Michael volunteered as a reader for the De Pere Intermediary schools for many years and also taught CCD- Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. Michael was a life long Chicago Cubs fan and a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan. His family includes his sister, Carol Ann Waiters of Devon, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Max. Memorial Mass in celebration of Michael's Life will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave, De Pere with Fr Tim Shillcox, O.Praem., officiating.
