Obituary

Nancy L. Daanen 71 of De Pere passed away early Wednesday morning November 2, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born June 29, 1940 to Arlene Heraly and the late Charles Heraly. Nancy graduated in 1958 fron East Green Bay High School. On October 9, 1965 she married Marvin Daanen at St. Phillip Catholic Church in Green Bay. Nancy retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, as well as the Red Hat Society, and the De Pere Home Makers Club. For many years Nancy taught Religious Education at Nativity Catholic Church. Whether it be camping, fishing, or making homemade cards, Nancy enjoyed spending time with family, and friends, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Kim (Kevin Loose) Phillips, and Kathy (Greg) Barker, as well as her 10 grandchildren; Amanda, Stephanie, James, Dustin, Andrew, Amber, Adam, Emily, Kyler, and Alex, and her 2 great grandchildren; Lily and Piper. Kim Daanen, Her mom Arlene, and her two siblings also survive her; Marilynn (Ken) Johnson, David (Jo) Heraly as well as her close friend Susan Peters, and Marvin's family. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Marvin in 1998, her son Kurt in 2006, and her dad in 2002. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive De Pere after 9am Monday until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr.
