Abigail Marie DeMars was born on January 15, 2026, at Emplify Health by Bellin and passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on January 18, 2026, at Children's Hospital. Though her time with us was brief, Abigail filled our hearts with immeasurable love and touched the lives of all who awaited her arrival.

Abigail was welcomed with open arms in heaven by her grandpa Michael Witak; great-grandparents James and Doris Rennes, Ernie Witak, Robert and Swan Kann, and Don and Geri DeMars; and great-aunt Carole Kann.

Abigail is survived by her parents, Kalyn and Eric DeMars (Green Bay), maternal grandmother, Judy Witak (Green Bay); paternal grandparents, Dave and Mary DeMars (Green Bay); great-grandma Aggie Witak (Peshtigo); aunts and uncles, Branden and Melissa Seymour (Peshtigo), Chad Witak and Quinn Sanders (Denver, CO), Ryan DeMars (Cassie Stangle) (Green Bay); and cousins Lillian and Hollis Witak.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Bellin Health NICU team, specifically nurse Emma and Jill, NP Cori, Dr. Burmeister, and the Children's Hospital NICU team, specifically nurse Emma and Kaela for their exceptional care and compassion provided to Abigail.
