Adelaide G. "Addie" Vetter, 91 of Green Bay passed away on her wedding Anniversary Thursday June 24, 2010. She was born May 8, 1919 in Green Bay to the late Cornelius and Elizabeth (Van Boxel) Smits. On June 24, 1941 she married Gerhardt Vetter and together they raised five children. Addie enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Later in life she enjoyed watching bowling on television. Her greatest joy was having family and friends around her and the love and laughter they brought her.
She is survived by her children; Gary (Candice) Vetter of Green Bay, Mark (Denise) Vetter of De Pere, and Donna Vetter of Luxemberg. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren; Christine, Michele, Michael, Jason, Tara, Amy, Eric, and Amanda. 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by special family friend, Teri Moreau and her two daughters, Katie Moreau and Christine (Alex) Dax and Christine's five children. Addie's brother in law Frank LeMere also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her two daughters; Toni (Wayne) Stram, and Claire Widi. Her siblings; George Smits, Bertha (Louie) Bellin, Clayton (Gladys) Smits, Marian Anderson, and Dorothy Smits.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere after 1pm Monday, June 28, 2010 until time of service at 3pm with Fr. Ken DeGroot O.Praem officiating burial in Lawrence Cemetery.
