Adeline E Vercauteren, 94, left this world with her children by her side on Sunday evening, January 8, 2023. The daughter of Edward and Angeline (Vande Hey) Stoskopf was born on November 15, 1928.

On June 21, 1950, Adeline married Lloyd Vercauteren. Together they enjoyed many years of square dancing (Whirl-Aways), traveling, ocean cruises, playing in bridge clubs, and dinner parties with friends and extended family.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Terry) Fett, Jeanne (Kelly) Long, Sherry (James) Hopfensperger and son Mike (Becki Burman) Vercauteren; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Marlene Luedke and Georgiana Piantek.

Adeline was preceded in death by her husband in 2007; her parents, sister Laura; brothers-in-law Lee Brusky and Gene Luedke; nephew Steven Piantek; and granddaughter Anna Hopfensperger.

Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 220 S Michigan St, De Pere, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ben Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Howard.
