Alberta Della (King) O'Shogay Wah-ka-lot-ha "She taps trees" has gone to meet the Creator and to be with her late family. January 10, 1926 February 27, 2016.
Alberta resided in Chicago for 52 years and came back home to Oneida in 1998. Her hobbies included making Indian dolls and ruffled photo album covers and loved to read.
Alberta is survived by her children Donna M. Richmond, Georgiann Keahna, Bruce W. King (Margaret), Daniel A. King and Stephen M. King (Julie M. Hill). She is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 35 great-great grandchildren, special friends Ben and Barb Skenandore, numerous other extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Sarah Elizabeth King, brothers Edwin and Raymond, and sisters Alice, Helen and Janet.
Family and friends will gather after 9:00 am Friday March 4, 2016 at Holy Apostles Episcopal Parish Hall in Oneida, Wisconsin. Oneida Hymn Singers will begin singing at 9:30 am. A memorial celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Parish Hall with Leander Danforth, officiating. Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
