Obituary

Alice (Schuh) Bougie passed away on Monday February 22, 2010 after battling Ovarian Cancer since March 2005. She was born March 24, 1946 to Lucille Blank and the late Peter Schuh. On May 25, 1968 she married Donald Bougie at St. Nicholas Catholic in Freedom. She had worked at Fort Howard for 10 years, and retired from Moore Response Graphics after 28 years. She enjoyed the simple things in life, such as being with her family, grandchildren, and friends. Alice also cherished; campfires, card games, board games, dominoes, and wind chimes. She also liked; religious songs, Christmas decorations, classical Strauss, baking, flowering gardening, windy days. Being very patriotic Alice loved her country and it's flag. Always being a farmer at heart she also loved to ride past farms and smell the freshly turned soil and smell of freshly spread manure. Alice was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van's Valley. She is survived by her husband Donald, her children; Jeff (Nikki) Bougie, Randy(Lisa LaLuzerne) Bougie, and Rebecca (Chad) Bass. Her grandchildren; Gavin and Hunter Bougie, Addison and Hayden Bougie, Brady, Brock, Brandon Bass, and Michael Ness. Alice is also survived by her mom Lucille, her siblings; Peter (Cindy) Schuh, Greg (Connie) Schuh, Lydia Smith, Chris (Jerry) VandenHeuvel, Steve (Doris) Schuh, Laura (Joe) Schumacher and many nieces and nephews. Don's family further survives; Roger (Gloria) Bougie, Sally (Gene) VandenHeuvel, Audrey (Lee) Noel, Mary (Tim) Doemel, Lynn (Bruce) Vondracek, Ralph (Gerri) Bougie, Paul (Sue) Bougie, Debbie (Bob) Gibson, Pat (Karen) Bougie, Bill (Laura) Bougie, and her mother in law Alma Bougie, and many nieces and nephews. Alice is also survived by her girlfriends she had since grade school; Janice Van Rossum, Mary Gonnering, Carol Kittell, Dolly Berghuis, Gerry Pomeroy, Pat Konkle, Sharon Scheibe, and Jean Miscoviak. She was preceded in death by her father Peter, her brother Arnold, and her in laws; Norbert and Henrietta Bougie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and her grandparents. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 8pm Thursday, with a parish prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue after 9am Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van's Valley until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr.
