Another passion that Alice had was local government. She was a member of the Republican Party of Brown County as well as being a Brown County Supervisor. She also was very involved with the Town of Rockland also serving on that board.
Alice was also very involved in various youth organizations. She was involved with the Brown County 4-H for many years- including being general leader of the Little Branch 4-H Club, fair superintendent for many years, and active member of the Brown County Fair Association. She also helped the De Pere High School FFA Chapter. Alice was very instrumental in starting the De Pere Holly Craft Show, which has been a very successful fund raiser for the school.
Other hobbies Alice had were going to local polka band dances, raising African violets, and living in the country surrounded by her plants and various animals.
