Alice Le Clair passed away peacefully on Monday February 23, 2009 at home. Born November 21, 1926 to the late Frank and Harriet Josephs in De Pere, WI. Alice married David J. Le Clair May 14, 1951 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere. David was the love of her life; he preceded her in death on November 9, 1998. Alice had a deep faith and lived a Christian Life. Alice was a wonderful mother, Nana, great grandmother Gigi, sister, aunt and friend. Alice's kitchen was the melting pot. Everyone gathered for cooking, baking, Danny's pizza, game playing, visiting and home work. Alice made Holidays special, she enjoyed her bingo and traveling. Alice had worked for Wisconsin Bell, the Lee Store, and a day care center. Alice is survived by her daughters, Karla Le Clair and Sharon (Le Clair) Bronander (Andrew) . Her four grandsons, Jeremy Bronander, Andrew and Paula Bronander (Cassandra and Kallista). Brad and Tara Bronander (Dominic), Tim and Katrina Bronander (Kyra and Kaitlynn), two godchildren, Debora Hermsen and Julie Baeten. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, a niece, great-nephews and great-nieces and special friends. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her in-laws, brothers, Hugo (Ethel) Josephs, Gene Josephs and sister, Marie (Norbert) Greisbach, as well as many extended family members. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Lourdes Avenue at Suburban Drive, De Pere from 3:00 to 6:30 pm on Friday February 27, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:00 pm Friday at the Church with Father Tim Shillcox, O.Praem., officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
