Alice Ninham, 83, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. The daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Metoxen) Skenandore was born on January 7, 1932 in Oneida, WI. On May 24, 1952 she was united in marriage to Harold Roy Ninham. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2000. Alice enjoyed cooking, baking, watching golf and cooking shows, gardening, and taking care of wild birds. Most of all, she cherished all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Assembly of God Church, and a member of the Oneida Basket Guild.
Alice is survived by her 10 children, JoAnn Ninham, Harold (Bonnie) Ninham Jr., Carmen (Roberto) Flores, Sharon (Roman) Diaz, Craig Darnell (Anita) Ninham, Michael (Brenda) Ninham, Bruce (Amelia) Ninham, Lisa (Efrain) Diaz, Lloyd (Gwen) Ninham, Conroy (Vicki) Ninham; 30 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren. She is further survived by siblings, Ruth Wagner, Marge Funmaker, Eva Doxtator, and Ron (Carol) Skenandore; daughters in law, Annie, Lillian, Julie; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Elliot Ninham; grandson, Efrain Diaz Jr.; granddaughter, Amber Ninham; siblings, Lawrence Skenandore, Thelma Keiser, Martha King, Emily Skenandore, Ellsworth "Beanie" Skenandore, James Skenandore, Walter Norman Skenandore, as well as brothers and sisters in law.
Friends and family are encouraged to gather at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. Oneida Hymn Singers at 6:30pm and a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at Woodland Worship Center, 760 Airport Road, Oneida, on Monday, September 28, 2015, beginning at 9:00am until 11:00am when a funeral service will be held, Pastor Lonnie Johnson officiating.
