Allison Hunt Bush, 24, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 16, 2011, in Madison. The daughter of Terry and Nan (Washechek) Bush was born March 23, 1987 in Denver, Colorado. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and was attending UW-Madison, where she was a former member of the Triathlon Team. Allison would have graduated next spring with a double major in neuroscience and psychology. She planned to attend medical school to become an anesthesiologist. She was an accomplished model in New York and Chicago, and her modeling career took her internationally to Paris, Barcelona, Milan and Athens. Her travels were enhanced by her ability to speak fluent Spanish, Italian, and blonde. :) Allison had a sparkling spirit and enriched each life she touched. Her persistent focus on positive things in life was simply inspiring. Allison was quick to smile, and her way of looking at the world made others smile, too. She was generous with her love and her time. No one that she cared about ever doubted her love for them, including her many pets. She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to all who knew and loved her. Allison's family includes her parents, Nan and Terry, her siblings, Lindsay and Thomas Velarde, and Nicholas and Austin, her grandparents, Carol and Bob Bush, and Joyce and Howard Washechek, aunts and uncles, Tracy and Tom Arndt, Sue and Tom Bush, Toni Bush McBride and fianc Tom Lawton, Sue and David Washechek, Sue and Mark Washechek, and many cousins and friends. Family and friends may call at Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 716 S. Madison Street, Green Bay, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday June 19, 2011. Visitation will continue at the church after 1:00 pm Monday until time of services. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday at the church with Reverend Doctor Charles Mize officiating.
