Obituary

Amanda June Stevens, 42, passed away at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay, on Friday, January 3, 2025, with family by her side. She was born in Green Bay on August 23, 1982, to Beckie Lynn Stevens and Robert John Demarr.

When she was younger, she loved to native dance and spent much of her childhood being raised by her grandparents Phyllis and Israel. Amanda had her daughter Nakita on July 2, 2001, and her son Juan on December 18, 2005. She was a foster parent to her niece and nephew Ian and Arianna as well.

Amanda worked many jobs but is most remembered for working in food and beverage at the Oneida Casino. She loved to make native beadwork and create different projects. Spending time with her family was the most important thing to her, as she always put them before herself. A caregiver by nature, Amanda looked for everybody, including her beloved pets; turtle- Ninja, rabbit- Thumper, guinea pig- Psycho, and dog- Bandit. A love of cooking for the family, and whomever would stop by the house is something she will be remembered for.

She is survived by her daughter Nakita Lynn Perez-Stevens and her son Juan Carlos Perez-Stevens. Only grandson Junior C. Perez-Stevens. Amanda's godson Alejandro James Stevens & his brother Jose Trejo & his son Enrique. Nephew; Ian Curtis Stevens and his sister Arianna Stevens. Her brother Justin Stevens, and his sister Kelly Stevens.

Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, her auntie Carol Jean Stevens, her husband Jose Rueben Perez-Perez, and dog Bandit.
