It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Andrew Peter Summers, 73, who left us on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. Surrounded by his loving family in his passing moments, he was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for the Chicago Cubs, softball, sports, fishing, cards, and bowling kept him busy. But the thing he loved the most was supporting his family. He rarely missed a game or event for his children or grandchildren. Andy was also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a void in our hearts.

Andy is survived by Sue, his eternal companion of 54 years. His children, Wendy Summers, Jackie (Gordon) House, Jed (Molly) Summers, Shara Summers (Jeremy Stahl). His grandchildren, Griffin Summers (Haley Dobson), Macy Denny, Janey Summers, and Kale Summers. And brother, Keith Rudesill. Also brothers/sisters in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Imelda Summers. His sister, Bette Tousey, brothers, Thomas Rudesill Jr, Henry Rudesill, William Summers, Jr., and Michael Rudesill.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 10, at 9 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Green Bay, WI - 651 Pinehurst Avenue. Funeral services will be held afterwards at 11 a.m. Andy would not want anyone to spend money on flowers, but rather donate to those in need. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humanitarian Aid Fund.
