Ann M. Schaetz, 68, passed away peacefully at Unity Hospice in De Pere on February 6, 2024. She was born in Green Bay on June 24, 1955 to the late Oscar and Eleanor (Witak) Schaetz.

Ann graduated from Green Bay East High School, UW Green Bay and NWTC Dental Hygienist program, working at MAC Dental for 33 years. Ann was an avid reader with her kindle always by her side. She enjoyed birdwatching, and long scenic car rides, often times to various casinos with family and friends. Ann was always in search of a good craft beer or bourbon Manhattan.

Ann was also a die hard Packers, Brewers and Badgers fan but also secretly cheered for the Vikings, Saints and LSU Tigers.

Ann is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Lieuwen and Cathy (Reg) Renard; sister-in-law, Sandy Schaetz; nieces Shelia (Ralph) Dettmann, Patty (Jeff) Landin, Lori Schaetz, Michele (Doug) Walker, Lisa (Derek) Forinash, Stacy Schaetz; nephews Dean (Anne) Renard, Steve (Holly) Renard and Gary (Debi) Lieuwen.

In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her brothers John Schaetz and Gene Schaetz and her brother-in-law Jerry Lieuwen.

There are no services being held per her request.

Ann's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospice and all of her friends who supported Ann during her journey, especially her long time friend Marilyn Destree.
