Anthony "Tony" Niespodzany, 79, De Pere, passed away Sunday February 10, 2019. He was born March 22, 1939 to the late Michael and Frances Niespodzany. On May 2, 1959 he married Betty Nieland. Tony operated Tony's Landscaping along with his wife Betty at his side. In the summer he installed lawns and in the winter he plowed snow. He enjoyed tractors, especially driving his son Don's "Hot Rod" in numerous parades. In his younger years Tony liked Beagles, and could often be found tending his garden, that he loved so much. He is survived by his son Don and Pam (Conley) Niespodzany, his sister Ceil Engels, Betty's family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tony was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2017 and his son Dennis in 2011, as well as his and Betty's siblings and their spouses. Friends may call after 1:00 pm Sunday February 17, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until time of service at 4:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Ted Tromble officiating. Tony will be laid to rest next to Betty at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
