Obituary

Arianna Jeda Stevens, 20, Oneida passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The daughter of Lindsay Powless was born April 27, 2004.

Growing up, Arianna had an adventurous spirit. She could always light up any room with her sweet personality and her loving energy. She was a sweet, fun-loving girl who always had a big infectious smile on her face and she loved to laugh. Arianna was always involved in so many activities, over the years she tried to be in as many things as she possibly could, she was a very busy girl who loved what she did.

Growing up Arianna absolutely loved gymnastics she started going to Airforce Gymnastics Academy in Green Bay at age 8 where she was a competitive elite gymnast for about 7 years. She won numerous 1st place medals and trophies over the years putting in at least 20+ hours of practice every week.

Arianna also enjoyed playing basketball in 4th and 5th grade for Seymour and Oneida but unfortunately, she didn't have enough time to commit to the sport and decided to focus most of her time on the sport she truly loved, gymnastics.

Arianna also got into Tae Kwon Do at age 5 and stayed with it for 10 years until she achieved her goal of becoming a 3rd degree black belt. She competed in numerous Tae Kwon Do tournaments over the years and won many 1st place medals and trophies in sparring, forms and board breaking she loved to incorporate her gymnastics into her board breaking.

Arianna also found the time to compete in triathlons for the Green Bay Multi-Sport team. A triathlon is a race where you swim, bike and run. At age 10 she started competing in numerous races every summer for the next 3 years. She accomplished her goal of placing in the top 3 in her age group at the Door County Triathlon where she earned the medal she was so proud of.

She graduated from Seymour High School in 2022 and was a member of the girl scout troop 2082 in Seymour for numerous years. She first joined in 4th grade as a brownie and stayed in it until 8th grade as a cadet. She loved going on all the camping trips over the years with the girls in her troop. Her two favorite trips during scouts were the trips she raised money for to go to Colorado, Zion National park in Utah, Grand Canyon National park in Arizona, and New Mexico where she got to go on a hot air balloon ride.

She was a member of the track team in high school where she competed for 3 years in many events but enjoyed pole vaulting the most. She was also a member of the swim and dive team in high school for all 4 years. She swam in many events her first 2 years but then decided to solely focus her attention on diving for her last 2 years.

She was also a member of band in school. She started playing the clarinet in 6th grade and continued with it all the way until she graduated high school. She took several trips with the high school band during her 4 years, but her favorite trip was when she got to go to Washington D.C. her freshman year and got to march in the 4th of July parade and see all the historical sights.

Arianna enjoyed archery where she competed in many 3D competitive shoots and received trophies for placing in the top of her age group. She enjoyed playing golf in her free time. She enjoyed spending time outside swimming and going on camping trips in the summer. She also enjoyed snow boarding in the winter. One of her favorite things to do was go fishing. She was also a huge animal lover she loved all animals. She especially loved all dogs, but she loved no dogs more than her beloved boys over the years Commanche and Max who have passed, and her current boy Shadow that she loved so much. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and taking pictures whenever she could, always searching for the perfect sunrise and sunset picture. She definitely touched many lives in a short time, left her mark on the world and lived life to the absolute fullest.

Arianna is survived by her mother Lindsay Powless, grandparents David and Karen Powless, great-grandparent Lois Powless, Aunt Alex Powless and Uncle Clyde Skenandore Jr and special cousins Harlow, Cashton, and Clyde Jr. and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arianna is preceded in death by many family members who I'm sure are waiting to welcome her with their loving open arms and help guide her on her journey to the spirit world.
