Arlene C. Dashner, 92, of De Pere, died Monday September 8, 2014 at home. The daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (Roznowski) Heezen was born March 7, 1922 at Little Rapids. Following graduation from Green Bay East High School in June 1939, she was employed at Dun and Bradstreet until her marriage to Perry K. Dashner on May 1, 1943. Perry preceded her in death on August 14, 1983. Arlene enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was an active member of ST. Joseph/Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She volunteered for over ten years counting the Sunday Collection, was a member of the Thursday Club, the refunding group and the Mission Ladies. Survivors include her son, James (Lyn) Dashner, De Pere, two grandsons, Andy (Amy) Dashner, Tiburon, CA (great granddaughter, 5 month old Brooklyn Dashner) and Michael Dashner, Dubuque, IA, one daughter-in-law, Donna Blue, Sonoma, CA. She is also survived by one foster sister, JoAnn (Edward) Hass, Reno, Nevada and one brother-in-law, Harvey Dashner, De Pere. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gertrude Heezen, her husband Perry Dashner, a son, Michael, one brother, Clarence Heezen, and her in-laws, Jacob (Ethel) Dashner, her two sisters-in-law, Cassie Heezen and Kathleen Dashner. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael of the Saints Chapel at Our Lady of Lourdes Family Parish, De Pere at 10:30 am Friday, September 12, 2014.
