IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arlene
Roddy
October 25, 1935 – September 6, 2022
Arlene Ellen Roddy, age 86, resident of Little Chute, WI was received into Jesus' loving arms on September 6, 2022 with all four of her children and her loving husband of 67 years by her side.
Arlene was the only child of the late Dorothy Jensen and Robert Bolte. She grew up in Evanston IL and married the love of her life on February 26, 1955. She and Wendell raised their four children in Edgar, WI and spent the last 21 years enjoying retirement in Lake Henry Estates, Haines City, FL.
Arlene had an unrivaled love for music. She had the voice of a songbird and shared her talent with others through church and community performances. She also enjoyed playing violin and occasionally "fiddled" with an Irish Jig band in Haines City. She loved to paint and decorated their home with her very own framed paintings. When she wasn't singing or painting, Arlene loved to golf, read, and play cards with her husband and friends. People who had the privilege of knowing Arlene often describe her as the kindest, sweetest person they ever met.
Arlene is survived by her husband Wendell Roddy, Daughter Nancy Berken (Tony) Sheboygan, Son Robert Roddy (Jeri) Elysian MN, Daughters Susan Van Asten (Tom) Little Chute and Wendy Roddy (Jeff Ringle) Wausau, 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is survived by Wendell's sisters Joy Downs, New Hampshire, and Mary Lynn Micheles, Milwaukee, sisters in law, Lois Roddy of Mosinee, and Pat Roddy of Rhinelander.
She was preceded in death by brothers in law Vernon Roddy and Dean Roddy.
