Arthur LaMotte, 68 of Oneida passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013. He was born on July 14, 1944 to the late Michael F. and Eleanor V. (Hill) LaMotte. He was united in marriage to Judith D. LaMotte. Arthur served his country in the United States Air Force, as a Sergeant in the Medical Corps. Arthur was stationed numerous places overseas. He and Judi lived in Arlington Heights, IL. before moving to Oneida. Art received his CNA certification in 1985 from Maple Hill Nursing Home in Illinois. Art loved to laugh and spend time with his family and friends, whether it be playing cards, going to casino, or watching American Idol. Although blind, he was blessed with a good nature and generous spirit, and laughed freely and openly. Art is survived by his siblings, Sharon (Al) Sarnowski, Michael W. (Vicki) LaMotte. Nieces and nephews further survive, Tammy, Sandra, Christina, Joe, Toni, Matt, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith, and a nephew Scott.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 3 4pm on Thursday. Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 3:30pm followed by the service at 4pm, and full military rites to follow.
