Obituary

Audrey Ann (Zittlow) Hendricks, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 surrounded by her family after a five year battle with poly-cystic kidney disease. She was born April 10, 1930 in West De Pere, a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Deppe) Zittlow. She graduated from Nicolet High School (West De Pere) in 1947. On September 9, 1950 Audrey married Ronald Hendricks at First Congregational Church United Church of Christ and was a member her entire life. After high school she worked at Stowe's Drug Store until her marriage to Ronald where she worked side by side with him on the farm. Audrey is survived by her husband Ronald; children: Darrell (Nancy) Hendricks, Daniel (Marta) Hendricks, Dennis (Treasia) Hendricks, Susan (Pat) Martin, Larry Hendricks, and Tim (Cheryl) Hendricks; grandchildren: Shayna (Brad) Tenor, Cody, Cole Hendricks, Jamie (Melissa) Hendricks, Cory (special friend Ann) Hendricks, Ben (Cheri) Hendricks, Doreen (Andy) Maes, Craig Martin, Eric (Kim) Martin, Jenny (Eric) Schwartz, Tammy (Josh) O'Dill, Chad Hendricks, Dylan, Austin, and Travis Hendricks; step grandchildren: Jeff Comfort and Brent Lamal; chosen grandchildren: Matt, Brian, Shawn, Nathan, and Taylor; great grandchildren: Zacharey, Ethan, Allyson, Courtney, Evan, Brayden, Aidan, AubriMaree, Lindsey, AubriAnna, Carter, Brady, Deven, Ally, and Ashley; and step great grandchild: Darien. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Mrs. Carl (Sandy) Zittlow, Mrs Marlin (Irene) Zittlow, Joan Hendricks, Phyllis Hendricks, Leona Sausen, and Ray (Carol) Hendricks. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Charles (Hazel) Zittlow, best friend and sister Dolores (Randal) Petersen, brothers Carl (Jackie) Zittlow, Marlin Zittlow, and Robert Zittlow; her father and mother-in-law Fred and Rosella (Van Gheem) Hendricks; her brothers-in-law: Norbert, Kenneth, Frederick (Sam) Hendricks, Art (Norma) Van Dommelen, and William Sausen, as well as her great granddaughter Gabrielle Lynn Schwartz. Visitation for Audrey will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 1018 Cedar St, De Pere, from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at church on Tuesday at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Cemetery on Wednesday.
