Obituary

Autumn MorningStar Danforth, Kan^na'ké•ne "In the fall", 27, of Milwaukee, passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2020. She was born on September 22nd, 1992 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Dewain Danforth and Sonya Harry. Autumn will join her father Dewain Danforth and her papa Redmon Danforth Sr. in the Creator's land along with many special relatives like her great uncles Simon Danforth, Daniel "Danny" Danforth, Aunt LaVonne and Cousin Troy Jr. "TJ" who she cherished in her heart. Autumn was a loving person and mom who cherished her babies; Akilies and Octavia. She had a smile that would light up your day and hugs that could go on forever. So much time could have gone by but Autumn never made you feel like it, she would hug you like she never wanted to let go. She could always make you laugh, cry, and be mad as hell, but you loved her just the same. She was a beautiful woman but carried a sadness she could not get passed after the loss of her daddy. Autumn had a way of talking to people, she was very outspoken and was always upfront with you. She was honest and told you like it was. She was outgoing, loving, and cherished her family above all things. She loved music, dancing, and just enjoying the company of those that loved her most. Autumn is survived by her children; Akelies and Oktavia, her boyfriend; Quran, her mother; Sonya Harry, her maternal brother; Joseph Luzich (Nicole) and their children; nephew and niece Chance and Harmony, her special sister; Amber Marie Schwab, her paternal sisters; Tia, Yokalasha, Muneca, Isabella, and paternal younger brother Joseph "JoJo", Apache Danforth, her maternal grandparents; Bev and Jim Pinter; maternal grandfather, Duane Harry, her paternal grandmother; Linda Danforth, grandmother; Maria Danforth; maternal uncle; Duane Harry Jr., paternal uncle Redmon Danforth Jr. (Katsi) and their children Courtney, Yelih, Laiyah, Redmon III, Shako and Nova Rae, and paternal auntie Sheena Danforth (Edward) and their children Audrina, Daniel, and D'Angelo, along with the Luzich family and the Manske family. She is further survived by her many great aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, extended family, and many friends in the Milwaukee area and Oneida Community. Autumn was loved dearly by so many and her spirit will live on through all that knew her and through her children. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the support of family and friends who join us in making her journey in the right way. The family would also like to thank those who donated, the fire keepers, and the community for all the condolences and support. Family and friends may call after 2 PM Sunday, August 9, 2020 at The Oneida Nation Longhouse, W370 Reformatory Rd., Oneida, WI.
