Barb "Babe" Skenandore, 78, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning January 30, 2016. She was born July 1, 1937 to Albert and Betsy (Cornelius) Davids. Barb took great pride in working, and looked forward to going to work each day. Her last job had been working in the gift shop at Elder Services, and had planned on returning there in the near future. Barb loved the fact that she lived next door to her grandchildren, and was able to see them come and go from school daily. She also enjoyed birds, flowers, going camping, traveling, and especially flying on airplanes.
An advocate for higher education, she wanted all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to go to school.
Barb is survived by her children; Cheryl Skenandore, Steven (Shelly) Skenandore, and Michael Skenandore. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Tanya (Shad) Webster, Gary (Raeann) Adams Jr., Leon (Susan) Adams, Jennifer Adams, Shoney (Rhonda) Skenandore, Bradley (Kathy) Skenandore, Shakira (Gene) Rasmussen, Stevi (Prez Moore) Skenandore, and Nogoshee (Sara) Skenandore. Her great grandchildren; Jazmin (Criss) Hansel, Natasha (special friend Elias), Kiara, Joshua, Alexis, Ohkwalikwah, Aleena, Austin, Logan, Destiny, Leon Jr., Chanya, Jalen, Alyiss, Elissa, Jamozzy, Skye, Charlie, Dyami, Makyah, Serenity, Zander , Zaidyn, Seneca Rose, Aiden, and Cayuaga, as well as her great great granddaughter; Lillianna. Barb's brother Donald (Phyllis) Davids, her sister in law Sue Davids and special friend Laneva "Kayo" Hill survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her grandson Joseph Adams, her brother Marvin Davids and her sister Edith Davids.
