Barbara McInnis, 53, of Sobieski passed away peacefully on Friday November 27, 2009. She was born October 18, 1956 to the late James and Virginia Murphy. On August 19, 2006 she married Eugene McInnis. She was a member of St. Maximilin Kolbe Catholic Church. Barb was a caring and giving RN at Rennes Nursing Home in De Pere. She also loved her dogs Phoebe and Gracey. She also was very fond of recalling her years as a bartender at Captain Jacks in Oconto. Above all Barb was a loving and devoted wife, mom, and sister. She is survived by her husband Eugene, her children; Jacob Anderson, and Samantha Anderson and her boyfriend Joe Herek. Barb is further survived by her step children; Robert, Thomas, Ian, and Amber McInnis and her siblings further survive; Sharon (Al) Luedtke, Mary (Bob) Hazelwood, John Murphy, and her sister in law; Mary Grace Murphy, her nieces and nephews; Timmy, Jason, Allen, Amanda, Sarah, and JJ, as well as Eugene's family. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Michael, Timmy, and Ricky. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 3 7pm on Monday with a parish prayer service at 7pm to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9am Tuesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Sobieski until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10am with Fr. Jack Harper officiating.
