Barbara Ann Schott, 82, of De Pere, passed away Sunday morning, October 19, 2014. The daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Fischer) Zeise was born in Green Bay on August 15, 1932. On May 30, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ervin Schott. Barbara was a deeply religious person, who had an unfailing faith and love for her savior Jesus Christ. More than anything, she lived for her family, especially for her grandchildren, who she loved so dearly.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her husband, Ervin; children, Anne Baeten, Michael (Betsy) Schott, Rebecca (Matt) Wellens; grandchildren, Emily Baeten, Benjamin Baeten, Charlie Schott, Grant Wellens; siblings, Kay Opichka, Pat Geurts, Joseph Zeise, Terry Collier; she is further survived by son-in-law, Bill Baeten, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her birth mother, Stella Proulx.
Friends and family are encouraged to gather at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Suburban Drive and Lourdes Avenue, on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 9:00am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., officiating. Inurnment at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum will be held at a later date.
