King
February 28, 1927 – July 2, 2024
Beatrice "Bea" Lillie King (Green), 97, has passed away peacefully at Anna John Nursing Home in Oneida, WI, on July 2nd, 2024. The daughter of Elsie House and Joe S. Green was born at home on February 28th, 1927, in Oneida, WI., Beatrice went to Highview Mission School, and received her diploma from Black River Falls, WI. Beatrice married Harold Daniel King on a February day in 1949 in Oneida, WI. After her youngest went to school, she went straight to work at Larson Canning Company, where she had a 20-year streak without injury and liked to job share. Beatrice was an avid member of Holy Apostles church, she enjoyed reading, attending church services, traveling to pow-wows while watching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild dance, she also enjoyed beading and sewing, watching sports, cooking and collecting recipes, gardening, and completing puzzles.
She had 10 children, Butch, Mike, Danny "Tᴧnyat", Bruce, Rick (Isabelle), Julie, Scott, and Dennis "Rocky"; 23 grandchildren, Robin, Michelle (Moon), Lynn "Minoka", Jeremy (Tianna), Sherri (Steve), Sheila (Robert), Gloria, Jason, Cody, Levi (Merci), Shelly (Dwight), Sean, Danielle (Pedro), Derrick (Mariea), Ahsaun, Cameron, Keanna, Tacoma, Danny Jr., Kim, and Mark; followed with 33 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren, building her ever growing family to 111 at her passing. Beatrice also has one surviving sister, Mary Jane Doxtator.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold King, three sister, Murial Skenandore, Erna Wheelock, Daisy Christjohn, and one brother Allen Green. One son, Joseph King, and one daughter Donna Shawanokasic, grandson Little Bear King, and two granddaughters, Stacey Brightstar King, and Lynn Marie King, as well as one great grandson, Jordan King.

Family and friends may visit Ryan Funeral Home, located at 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024. A prayer service will begin at noon with burial to follow at Holy Apostles Cemetery in Oneida.
