Beatrice "Bea" LeMieux, 82, of Green Bay, died Tuesday August 3, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Henry and Julia (Metoxen) Huff was born July 16, 1928 in Milwaukee. On March 17, 1951, she married Clyde LeMieux in Waukegan, IL and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1975. She grew up in Oneida and lived most of her adult life in Door County, prior to moving back to Oneida in 1987.
Bea enjoyed following the stock car races and playing Bingo. She liked spending time and eating meals with the Oneida Elderly, and her hobby was collecting elephants. Bea was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Beverly LeMieux, Anaheim, CA, Linda Newton, Green Bay, Raymond and Debra LeMieux, Bowler, Donna and Lee Walotkiewiez, Two Rivers, Patricia and Ken Schaefer, Sturgeon Bay, Clyde and Nancy LeMieux, Sturgeon Bay, Ricky LeMieux and special friend, Tanya Hogan, Sturgeon Bay, Barbara and Elmer Blair, St. Francis, Randy and Julie LeMieux, Sturgeon Bay, twenty three grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, five sisters, Mary and Ronald Martin, Shirley Thomas, Patricia Beilke, Helen Huff, Carol LeFebre, and one brother, Henry and Stella Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Bruce, and three sisters, Violet Stephany, Sandra Doxtator, and Ellen Huff.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday August 5, 2010. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Friday at Oneida United Methodist Church, Freedom Road, Oneida, until time of service. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday at the church with the Rev. Earl L. Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
