Obituary

On the 25th day of March, in the year 2021, heaven gained another angel by the name of Beatrice Helen Schroeder. Now whether or not they were ready to accept her, is an entirely different story. Most likely she made it to the gates in record time, knowing that she'd finally be reunited with the love of her life, Lyle. Born in the small town of Green Bay, as a child of 12, she always reached higher. She married the love of her life at 23, and began her family shortly thereafter. Family was always the core of Bea's being; her favorite times include family vacations in the motorhome, bonfires up north at their cabin, gathering everyone to park cars for the Packer game, and shopping with the girls. Most of all, Bea's favorite holiday and time of the year was Christmas. She'd decorate every inch of her home, ensured everyone had a gift to open and enjoy, all while preparing a Christmas meal that would overflow the dining table- which often sat over 18 people. She didn't stop there, she'd make sure everyone not only had their favorite dish and drink on hand, but also their favorite pie- often making 7+ pies for Christmas dinner alone. Christmas wasn't just about the pomp and circumstance for Bea, it was about sharing in what she had, and worked hard for. She cherished those times most, with a front row seat to watch her family grow, change, and evolve. Bea's passions were deep; she loved to travel, dance with the love of her life, and bring her family together in anyway possible. She traveled the globe by car, motorcycle, motorhome, cruise, and airplane; taking every chance she got to see the world and visit places she'd never been. Little did she know at the time, she'd pass her love of traveling to her children and grandchildren. It is with saddened, heavy hearts, in which we say goodbye to a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her zest for life, loving fiercely, and being there for others was a gift; one in which was given to everyone that met her. We will continue to honor her memory by laughing, loving, eating, and drinking together. As this is not a goodbye, but merely "We love you, give dad (grandpa) a hug for us, and we will see you later." Beatrice is proceeded in death by her beloved Lyle; and survived by her four children- Russell (Susan) Schroeder, Lynn (John) Winchell, Randall (Kathy) Schroeder, and Richard (Teresa) Schroeder; 7 grandchildren- Brian (Erin), Chad (Tiffany), Dana, Lacy, Rachel, Nicholas (Amber), and Derek; 6 great-grandchildren, Drew, Nora, Hailey, Alyssa, Zoey, and Braelynn. A private Mass of Christina Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Green Bay. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
