Bernadette “Birdie” Louise Vanlue, 78, De Pere, passed away Tuesday evening, June 9, 2026. She was born on June 17, 1947, in Rockford, IL. To the late Lynnwood and Mildred (Devroy) Hale.

Bernadette graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1965. In 1966 she married Roger S. Kelter, and together they were blessed with children; Carmen Collier, Jason (Valerie) Kelter, David M. (Katrina) Kelter, Heather Stocco, and Jay P. (Ayes) Kelter. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah Gillespie, Taylor Collier, Ariannah Kelter, Nathan Kelter, Emily Kelter, Allison Kelter and Adam Kelter; two great grandchildren, her sister Donna Pantzier, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In December 1991 she married Daniel Vanlue, and Bernadette welcomed her stepson Daniel Vanlue Jr., into the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Vanlue, her parents, and brother Robert Hake and her sister Terry Canzoneri.
