IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bethany
Yuhasey-Nelson
August 13, 1990 – January 17, 2025
Green Bay – Bethany "Beth" Yuhasey-Nelson, 34, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2025, following a brief illness. She was born on August 13, 1990, in Green Bay to David and Virginia (Rohan) Yuhasey. Beth was a graduate of West De Pere High School, Class of 2009. She went on to graduate with an Associate's degree in Human Resources from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2015.
Beth married the love of her life, Hunter Nelson, on August 6, 2016, at her family's cottage on Berry Lake in Gillett, Wisconsin. They made their home together in Green Bay, where they built a life filled with love and joy.
Beth's love of animals began at a young age, with rabbits, ferrets, cats, and dogs throughout the years. She was a proud mom to her dogs Lucy and Finn, and her cats Stark, Ezio, and Echo. An avid reader and fan of Game of Thrones, Bob's Burgers, the movie Pride and Prejudice, and Disney movies—especially Beauty and the Beast—Beth's greatest passion was the time she spent with family and friends. They meant the most to her.
Survivors include her husband Hunter; father, David Yuhasey; stepfather, Scott Harris; brother, Josh (Jenny) Yuhasey; stepsister, Kelly (Joe) Burleson; two nieces, Joyce and Jayne Yuhasey; grandmother, Joyce Yuhasey; mother-in-law, Patti Nelson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Rohan; step-mother, Mary Yuhasey; grandparents, Benjamin and Rose Mary "Posy" Rohan, and Guy Yuhasey.
Family and friends may gather at Cedar Creek Event Center, 1018 Cedar Street, De Pere, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025, for Beth's Celebration of Life.
The family would like to thank Ryan Funeral Home, as well as Dr. Bellg and the ICU nursing staff at Bellin Hospital, for their kindness and the compassionate care they provided. Their efforts will always be remembered.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to support Hunter during this challenging time.
