Betty M. Niespodzany, 78, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening December 11, 2017. She was born on March 26, 1939 to the late Herbert and Martha (Rosenthal) Nieland. On May 2, 1959 she married Tony Niespodzany. Betty worked alongside Tony operating Tony's Landscape for many years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and raising Beagles, but it was being a wife and a mother to her children that meant the most. She is survived by her husband Tony, son and daughter in law Donald and Pam Niespodzany, her siblings; Carol (Willie) Piechocki, Barb (special friend Bob Terher) Baumgartner, Robert Nieland, Shirley (special friend Dick Gosz) McGlin, Larry Nieland, and sister in law Ceil Engels, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her son Dennis in 2011, and brothers and sisters in law; Patricia Nieland, Charles Baumgartner, Dennis McGlin, Rae Anne Nieland, John (Catherine) Niespodzany, Stanley (Frances) Niespodzany, Alex (Leona) Niespodzany, Alvina (George) Roshak, and Clarence Engel. A funeral service will take place at 2:00PM at the funeral home with Pastor Ted Tromble officiating burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
