Obituary

Beulah M. Van Schyndel age 89 of Oneida passed away peacefully on Thursday August 29, 2013. She was born May 28, 1924 in De Pere to the late Len and Minnie (Dennesen) Ambrosius. On July 6, 1946 she married Tony Van Schyndel at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Beulah was a devout Catholic and was very dedicated to her church, as well as her family. Always generous and willing to volunteer when called upon, Beulah loved to bake pies for church functions and her family. Her garden and flowers were a form of enjoyment for her, or just being outside and enjoying God's creation. Beulah was very close with her sisters, and they loved to play cards and travel with each other. She loved to sing, and could be often found singing at home to pass the time. She is survived by her children; Mary Ellen (Bob) Ellenbecker, Oneida, Bill (Donna) Van Schyndel, Oneida, Judy (John) Van Sistine, Suamico. Jim Van Schyndel, Pulaski, Tom (Mary) Van Schyndel, Oneida, Karen Sobiesczyk, De Pere, and Mike (Lori) Van Schyndel, Oneida. She is further survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, her sister Ethel (Bob) Liebergen, her sister in laws; Marcella Ambrosius, Dolores Van Schyndel, Claire Van Schyndel, and numerous nieces and nephews. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Tony in 1981, her granddaughter Laurie Ellenbecker, and granddaughter in law Judy Ellenbecker. Her siblings also preceded her in death; Henrietta (Joe) Gerbers, Stella (Ben) Treml, Grace (Carl) Landwehr, Rita (Lloyd) Cleven, Vernon Ambrosius, and Ray (Lucille) Ambrosius. Members of Tony's family also preceded her in death; Ann (John) Van Boxtel, George (Betty) Van Schyndel, John Van Schyndel. Dorothy (Ray) Jacques, Martin (Tracy) Van Schyndel, Marie (Clarence) Daoust, and Ted Van Schyndel. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 8pm Tuesday September 3, 2013. Visitation will continue after 9am Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr.
