Beverly Ann "Bev" (Dessaint) Metoxen, 77, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born to Roland and Alice (Kirwin) Dessaint in Rhode Island on September 2, 1943. Bev grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. She met and married Gary Metoxen and traveled the world with him during his time in the United States Navy. Upon his retirement, they moved to Oneida to raise a family. She loved shopping and giving to others, talking on the phone, reading and telling stories. She was the Queen of Clean, and her house was always spotless. Bev had a spitfire attitude and we will all miss her loving presence, but we are happy for her that she is dancing in Heaven now. Beverly is survived by her children, Tanya, Gary Jr. and Cary; grandchildren, Cheyanna (Cameron) Miller, Jamie Metoxen, Daniel Metoxen; and great-grandson Allias. She is further survived by her siblings, Muriel (William) Kenyon, Roland (Sandra) Dessaint; close friend Edie (Stanley) French. She is further survived by other extended family members and friends. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest sister Marlene (Frankie) Scattone and other members of her extended family. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. A funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Raymond Reed officiating.
