William H. "Bill" Vande Hey, age 51, resident of Greenleaf, passed away Friday morning, December 24, 2021 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center-East in Peshtigo. He was born December 12, 1970 in Green Bay, son of the late Orville Sr. and Patricia (Lenss) Vande Hey. Bill attended Syble Hopp School. He enjoyed music, dancing, farming; specifically, feeding the cows and cleaning the barn, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
Bill is survived by his siblings and their spouses; Richard Vande Hey, Carolyn (Raymond) Vande Voort, Alice (Wayne) Aschenbrenner, Fred (Cathy) Vande Hey, Marvin (Kim) Vande Hey, Karen (David) Verhagen, Orville Jr. (Paula) Vande Hey, Kevin (Amy) Vande Hey, Keith (Beth) Vande Hey, and Lois (Mike) Hauner. Bill is also survived by brother-in-law Jim Petri, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Those who preceded Bill in death are his parents, Orville and Patricia Vande Hey, sister Joyce Petri, sister-in-law Geri Lynn Vande Hey, nephew Jesse Vande Hey, grandparents Henry and Petronella Vande Hey and George and Mary Lenss.
Bill's family would like to extend a special thanks Rennes Health and Rehab Center-East and Unity Hospice for their excellent care. Additional thanks to the family of Virgil and Sandy Vande Hey, for treating Bill like another son/brother.
A private service took place at Ryan Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with entombment following at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
