Bob P.
Van Boxtel
February 2, 1938 – June 6, 2026
Robert "Bob" Van Boxtel, 88, peacefully entered our Lord's eternal life due to natural causes on Saturday, June 06, 2026.
Bob will be remembered for his jovial disposition, love of food, and most of all his "gift of gab." He could strike up a conversation with anyone - telling them many UPS stories and how he probably knew their relatives. The nurses called him "Chatterbox Bob."
He was born and raised in Little Chute, WI, and later moved to Freedom where his family farmed. He married his wife, Nancy Fritsch, they were married for 66 years. He then entered the U.S. National Guard, worked for Pacon Papers, and retired from UPS after 33 years. Besides his wife and family, his greatest "loves" were Ford trucks, tractors, and Sunday morning polka music.
Bob is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Bobbie and her husband Kevin Berken, son Quin and his wife Shea, grandchildren Shane, Andrew and Jordann, Finnley, Sam, and Anna, and his sisters Judy, Bonnie, and Trish.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann (Van Schyndel), daughter Shaun, infant son Troy, brother Dan, sisters Mary Lou, Elaine, and Jean; In-laws Art and Marie Fritsch, Donna and Bob Ludwig, Clark and Carol Appleton, Jerome, Leroy, Bernie, Bob Fritsch, and Joe Rickert.
Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. 10th Street, De Pere, WI 54115, on Saturday June 13, 2026, from 10:00am until 12:00pm. A celebration of life will immediately take place following the visitation at noon.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Freedom first responders, Aurora nurses, and hospice nurses for your care and compassion.
