IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonita K.
Leschig
November 29, 1947 – December 7, 2025
It is with immensely saddened hearts that we share the passing of our dear mother, Bonita "Bonnie" Leschig.
Born in Oneida, Wisconsin to the late Emil "Bud" and Florence Elm. Bonnie had a cherished childhood with many fond memories such as ice skating in her friend's backyard and delicious early morning breakfasts her grandmother would make for the family and gentlemen helping with the farm.
Bonnie had an adventurous spirit in her youth and moved to Milwaukee with her sister, Mona, where she met our father, her soulmate and love of her life, Ron. They united in marriage on June 23, 1972, and built a family with three daughters and one son. She lovingly devoted her life to her children and husband.
Bonnie was an amazing cook! Her potato salad was a must at family events. We yearn for her dishes already. She enjoyed beading and make beautiful earrings. Another pastime she enjoyed was watching movies and series.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Ronald Leschig Sr. Adored children Paulette Leschig, Dawn Leschig, Ronald (Shawnta) Leschig Jr, and Nicole (John) Treviño. Cherished grandchildren Norris "MoMo", Raven, Bowe, Naomi, John "JJ", Laila, Madison "Maddie", and Alani. Brothers Keith and Gary. Sisters Jenni, Sandi, and Debbie. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by parents Emil and Florence, and sisters Carol Ann and Mona.
Family and friends may gather at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI 54115 on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service with Pastor Laura Riemer at 2:30 p.m. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin their song service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Oneida United Methodist Church Cemetery.
"The day you left this Earth, our souls were torn apart. Memories are what remain, we cling to them deep within our heart. You're at peace and the pain has stopped, a comfort to us all. The most saccharine line to Heaven, you, an Angel we will call"
We love you so much DoDo and will miss you endlessly.
