Bonnie Ann (nee Burke, Belanger, Shepardson) Destiche, age 80, of De Pere, WI passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Bonnie was born on June 13, 1941, to the late Wilner and Mabel (Krcma) Burke in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1959. In her younger years she had various interests and was involved in activities, including: dog training, teaching deaf children with sign language, being a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, as well as an Avon representative.
Throughout her life she was an avid reader and loved learning about the world of nature and wildlife. In her later years, she loved staying connected to friends, classmates, coworkers and enjoyed attending the Packer Golden Girls Reunions. She felt strongly in giving back to various charities, including: St. Jude Children Hospital, Best Friends and, lastly, Happily Ever After of Green Bay (where she adopted a cat, Gabby, and a dog, Lady.)
She was a wonderful lady with a sense of humor and resiliency that will be dearly missed.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ralph; 3 children, Mike (Linda) Belanger, Kristine Belanger and Greg (Jessica) Belanger; grandchildren, Will, Clara, Sammi, and Cali Belanger; stepsons, Andrew (Julie) Destiche and their children, Payton and Chris (Cassie), Tony (Kim) Destiche and their children, Devin and Lindsey; 3 step great-grandchildren, Lilly, Sadie and Evie Hagerstrom: her sister, Judy (Charlie) Laedtke and the father of her children, Thomas Belanger; numerous other dear family friends.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Shepardson; granddaughter, Lydia Belanger; and stepdaughter, Annette Lexa.
