IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonnie
Miller
November 10, 1940 – December 18, 2022
Bonnie Claire Miller, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 18, 2022. The daughter of Russel and Glendora (Francour) Gould was born in Menominee, Michigan on November 10, 1940.
Bonnie attended Peshtigo High School and graduated in 1959. She went on to the Wisconsin College of Cosmetology and spent many years as a stylist. She spent 16 years at Prevea Clinic working in the financial service department, retiring in 2006.
Bonnie gave her loved ones the best gift on June 3, 1982 by becoming a proud member of the AA/Al-Anon community. She was best known for hosting annual parties (ornament exchange, white elephant, and corn roast) throughout the years which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was loved by so many, has touched many people's lives in a way we don't believe she even realized. Her circle of family and friends was deep and something she cherished with her whole being.
To know Bonnie was to love Bonnie. This tiny, feisty firecracker had a wit about her that made people laugh and feel at ease. From her one liners, to her facial expressions, to her 'Connie-isms' (that was what she called herself when she did or said something off the wall). One never knew what would come out of Bonnie's mouth but they sure knew she was loveable.
Bonnie enjoyed gardening, movies, shopping, going out to eat, and her sweets. Boy did she ever love her sweets! She was known for hiding anything she really liked so she wouldn't have to share it. Sometimes she would hide these goodies and forget where she hid them until several months would pass by and we'd find them in a drawer or in her bedroom closet.
Above all, Bonnie just loved visiting with friends and family, and attending her Grandchildren's sporting events. She was one of their biggest supporters in anything they did and was always eager to hear about their day or anything going on in their lives. She loved spending time with her son's dog, Tanner, spoiling him every chance she could.
Bonnie's family takes great comfort in knowing she is at peace. She lived her life with such grit, determination, hard work, dedication, stubbornness, strength, perseverance, and prayer. All qualities that were admired by those who knew her.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Brad Miller (Teri), Kip Miller and Shelly Meisner (Jim VanStechelman); grandchildren, Katie and Jackson Meisner; as well as step-grandchildren, Ryan Jantz (Cynthia), Brandon Jantz (Ashley), Patrick Jantz (Emilie) and Kaila Van Stechelman. She is further survived by her siblings, Russel Gould and Lynne Schacht.
She was preceded in death by brothers Jim and Ken Gould, and sister Lois Pesch.
Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Sharing of stories will take place at 6:00 p.m. with sweet treats being shared throughout the visitation per Bonnie's request.
Additionally, a celebration of life with Bonnie's famous corn roast will take place in the summer of 2023. More details on that celebration will be made available in the future.
A special thank you to St. Vincent Hospital, Unity Hospice, the ADRC and the De Pere Fire & Rescue for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Bonnie and the family.
