Obituary

Bradley L. Williams, 47, of Oneida, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at home. He was born November 25, 1965 in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of James Williams, Jr, and Joyce (King) Williams. Brad spent a total of 27 years in the US Armed Forces. He retired after twenty years in the US Marine Corp and then he has spent the last seven years active in the National Guard stationed in Mississippi ranked as a Staff Sergeant. He was proud to be able to have led soldiers in both of his tours in Iraq. Brad received his Purple Heart and a number of Bronze stars. He was a member of the Oneida VFW Post 7784, the Desert Veterans of Wisconsin, the Military Order of Purple Heart. Brad is survived by his mother Joyce (Mike Andring) Williams; fiance Chris Cornelius; traditional step son Marcus Cornelius; his two children; former wife Cindy Williams; step son Adam (Cinanah) Faust; step granddaughter Makinah Faust; uncle Warren King; brothers, Joshua Wade Cubbee and Frank Chata Chubbee (from Paris, Tx), cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents "The Great" Robert (Grace) King and James (Eunice) Williams Sr; and uncle Wayne King. Friends and family may visit on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Oneida United Methodist Church, N6037 County Rd E, Oneida. Oneida Singers at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Candace Ascher officiating. Procession will be to Oneida Tribal Cemetery for burial next to his grandfather "The Great" Robert King and Military Honors by the US Marine Corp, VFW Post 7784, WI Desert Veterans of WI, and the WI Indian Veterans Association. .
