Brenda J. Jorgenson, age 66, of Oneida, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by friends and family, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her residence, after a long battle with early onset dementia.
She was born in Green Bay, WI on October 23, 1955, daughter of the late Carl John Jorgenson and Betty Lucille (Metoxen) Jorgenson. Brenda worked for many years and loved her job as the lead cook/ supervisor for the Oneida Nation at their Senior Center. She was a very popular with anyone who met her, especially with her coworkers.
In her spare time, Brenda loved spending time with her family, going "up north" to the cabin, camping and, most of all, rummaging with her mom Betty.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Betty Jorgenson; two children, Christopher (Jessica) Jorgenson, Erin (Reginald "Red") Jorgenson, who raised her precious girl, Najoni Jorgenson; six grandchildren, Nathan, Shane, Rebecca, Peyton, Michael and Garrett.
She is further survived by her siblings Janice Hall, Edwina Jorgenson, Wanda (Mike)Boivin, Gerald "Jerry" (Patricia "Tricia") Jorgenson and Randall "Randy" (Linda) Jorgenson; numerous nieces and nephews; her Goddaughter, Sara L. Carmichael; many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Jorgenson; grandparents, Edward (Nancy) Metoxen and John (Evelyn) Jorgenson.
Friends and family may visit from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere. The Oneida Singers will commence at 6.30 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Oneida Methodist Church, N6037 County Rd. E, De Pere, WI, with Rev. Jane Sommers presiding. Family and friends may visit at the church from 9 AM to the time of service. The Oneida Singers will commence at 10:30 AM. Interment will at 2:30 PM at Nicolet Memorial Gardens at 2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Green Bay, WI.
Brenda's family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to her daughter and son-in-law, Erin and "Red" for the loving care they provided to Brenda these last eight years. In addition, her family is grateful to Unity Hospice, all Firekeepers, Melanie, Jordan, Betty and Tricia (for helping Erin take care of business), Ryan Funeral Home and Nicolet Memorial Gardens for all their assistance.
