Brian "Tiny" Smits, 57, De Pere, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, after a long illness. He was born February 7, 1968.

Brian graduated from West De Pere High School. He laid epoxy flooring for many years.

Brian loved to fish and had many friends.

He is survived by his sisters; Jennifer (James Tyczkowski) Doherty, Maureen (Paul Yaeger), as well as four nephews and a niece; Alex, Nick, Toby, Brady, and Kennedy. Sister-in-law Susan Smits-Murphy, Stepfather Jerry (Colleen) Cady, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Brian Was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Smits and Lynn Cady, his brother Brad Smits, and stepfather David Doherty.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 5:00PM Friday, October 17, 2025, with a time of sharing memories at 7:00PM. All are then welcome at The Longbranch 334 Main Ave., De Pere to toast Tiny's memory.
