Bruno Allen Cornelius, 61, Chicago, IL passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born in Chicago on August 15, 1960, to the late Royalton and Irene Cornelius. Debra invited Bruno to dinner 22 years ago and they were together ever since. Married on Father's Day, June 20, 2004, they had celebrated 18 years of marriage. Bruno worked for the City of Chicago for 33 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting pool and fishing. He loved his animals, including dogs, snakes, and lizards. Bruno is survived by his wife, Debra; siblings, Diane (Kenny) Skenandore, Oneida; Fern (Jerry) Diamond, Oneida; Florence Murphy, Portland, OR; Royalton (Lynda) Cornelius, Jr. Green Bay; his nieces and nephews Kitty, Joe (Val), Kymme (Mike), Lee, Travel, Lowell, Erin, Little Roy, Irene, Danelle, Nick, Matthew, Charlette, Doyle, Ramone, Jamari and James. He is further survived by many relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Bruno is preceded in death by his brother George Cornelius, sister Pearl Ann Cornelius and his nephew Zeke and nephew-in-law Richie Pyzel. Private services were held. Interment in Oneida Methodist Cemetery.
