Carie M. Burnside (Nee Zaffke) passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the age of 48 years.

Loving mother of Mickile Skenandore, Calvin Burnside and Allyana Burnside. Dear grandmother of 7. Sister of Jammie and Tania. Daughter of Brian Zaffke. Granddaughter of Dorothy. Carie always said, "Friends are the Family you choose". She leaves her dear partner Tammy and friends Shelly and Yvonne. Also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is returning home to be with her loved ones that passed before her; her mother Katherine, her son Gabriel, her children's father Calvin, loving "niece" Marlaina, aunt Rozella and uncle Burton.

Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53220 on Monday, January 22nd, 2024, from 3-6 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM.

Visitation will also be held at Oneida United Methodist Church, N6037 County Rd. E, De Pere, WI 54115, on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, from 3-5 PM, with Funeral Services and final Drum Farewell at 5 PM.
