Carol A. Burke, 90, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, August 22, 2022. She was born July 12, 1932, to the late Sylvester and Vivian (Hendricks) Cornelissen. On December 11, 1951, she was united in marriage to William Burke at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenleaf. Carol was the owner and operator of a Beauty Salon in Colorado Springs, CO. A faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Carol enjoyed camping, and playing cards. It was the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren that she cherished the most. Carol is survived by her children; Jim (Marti) Burke, California, Joe (Brenda) Burke, Colorado, Sue Minten, De Pere, Donna Liebergen, De Pere, John (Kelly) Burke, Sturgeon Bay, Jerry Burke, Green Bay, and many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol's siblings; Germaine Diny, Jack Cornelissen, Sandy Greenley, sister-in-law Barb Cornelissen, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William, and her family; Leo Diny, Mary Lou (Lloyd) Gussert, Gerald Cornelissen, Mary Ellen Cornelissen, Eileen (Joe) Vander Zanden, Mary (Francis) Hessel, Helen (Kenny) Willems, Pat (Bob) Peeters, and nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 4:00PM on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00PM to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue from 9:00AM until 10:15AM on Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM with Fr.
