Carol Ann Gruetzmacher 79, of De Pere passed away on Wednesday morning March 24, 2010. She was born March 4, 1931 to the late Clarence and Myrtle (Orde) Van Donsel. Carol attended UW Milwaukee School of Nursing. She retired from the State of Wisconsin as a Nursing Home Inspector. She is survived by her children; Holly Gruetzmacher and her friend Alvin Cole, Pete Gruetzmacher, Tom Gruetzmacher, Kris Gruetzmacher and her friend Jay Cerione, Tim Gruetzmacher, Matt Gruetzmacher, and Mary (Rick) Gerbers. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Max, Kristine, and Ann Gruetzmacher, Alex and Kendra Gerbers, and Brynna and Kelsey Gruetzmacher. Carol's siblings also survive; Dale and Darlene Van Donsel, Pete and Kathie Van Donsel, Linda Neuman and her ex husband Don Gruetzmacher. Her parents Clarence and Myrtle Van Donsel preceded Carol in death. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere after 10am Monday March 29th.
