Obituary

Carol J Stevens, 62 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1962, to the late Israel and Phyllis (Summers) Stevens. She attended East High School in Green Bay and acquired her GED from NWTC in 1999.

She worked for the custodial services at the Oneida Bingo Casino for 8 years. She was famous for her delicious fry bread as well as her yeast bread. She loved going to family gatherings and enjoyed going to the casino whenever she got the chance. She also enjoyed going for car rides and walks because she loved to spend time in the sunshine.

She survived her siblings Russell (Carol) Stevens, Elizabeth Stevens, Lori Stevens, Kristie Stevens, special niece Latisha Matson, goddaughter Alondra and other special niece Atavia. She is further survived by her boyfriend of 29 years Guzzie Johnson as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her second parents, Delores and George Stevens, sister Becky Stevens, as well as numerous other aunts and uncles.

Friends and family may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024. The Oneida Hymn Singer Song Service will begin at 11:30 AM. A funeral service will begin immediately following the song service.
